Everything around the two days. Scheduling, the diligence process, stakeholder interviews getting booked, gear, the house, and the follow-through sessions landing on the calendar where they are supposed to. She is who you hear from between the proposal and the arrival.
Former collegiate surfer at the University of Florida, and a construction inspector before this, with study in urban planning and sustainability. She is not an administrator who books boats. She has been in the water her whole life and she knows what the day actually requires.
She does not do the diligence and she is not in the room. That is deliberate. What is said in the boardroom and on the boat stays between two people.
On the water
Everybody running the boat has run something else.
You go out with a licensed captain, or with a surf coach who has competed. Not with a friend of mine, and not with me guessing at conditions while I am also running your session. Equipment is provided. You do not need to know how to surf or fish, and nobody is assessing you.

An engineer who ran a consulting firm before he gave it up to guide. A decade on the Blue Ridge creeks, then the Kenai and the Chilliwack. Now he poles the backcountry flats through Northeast Florida spartina marsh, reading flood tides for tailing redfish.
He made a structural decision about his own life and has not looked back. He is on the platform for a reason.

Competed on the professional circuit up to the World Qualifying Series. Founded a real estate appraisal firm in 2015 and Atlantic Post Coffee in 2021. Still competes in Boardriders events, now against his son Fisher.
An operator who never stopped being a rookie at something. If you have never stood on a board, he is the reason that is not a problem.
Who is not here
- No associates. Your diligence is not handed to an analyst who has never run anything.
- No junior consultants. Nobody is learning on your two days.
